Bondi Case Study: From Idea to More Than Two Million Units

The challenge

Funky Rico had an idea for keeping a phone visible and within reach instead of buried in a pocket or bag. They needed a product that was simple to use, could be protected with patents, and was ready for retail shelves.

What we did

GloberDesign worked with Funky Rico from design through launch. We designed and tested the product, then prepared the design patent drawings and supported the patent filing, which led to patents filed worldwide. We designed the retail packaging, helped build the product website, and produced an animated video to market it.

The result

According to the client, the Bondi sold more than two million units worldwide. In a verified review on Clutch, the owner of Funky Rico called the product “a huge success.”
